Other usefull informations
Airport
Two possibilities, either arrive directly toTucson airport (40 minutes from the condo) or go by Phoenix (1 h 45 from the condo).
Personnaly, I prefer Tucson because it is closer to the condo and rental car is often a bit cheaper.
Car rental
For 2 people, I usually rent a compact car and ask a hatchback model at the airport. To date, this has always worked and then we can transport two bikes in the trunk with the fallen benches. For 3-4 persons, a van is preferable to carry bicycles.
Bring your bike or rent one
You can bring your bike. Transport costs are between $ 100 (Air Canada) and $ 150 (US airlines) per way. For my part, I find that rental is cheaper and is much less complicated, but it is a matter of choice.
I have two very good bikes that I leave in my condo and use when I go there. They are available for rent.
